Mrs. Funk
My name is Chantley Funk, and I teach 8th grade ELA at North Habersham where I am proud to be a Bobcat and Raider alumni. I am also the head coach for the 8th grade Lady Raiders Basketball team. My degree is in Middle Grades Education from the University of North Georgia. I am certified to teach English Language Arts, Social Studies, and Math.
My goal is to create a supportive and engaging learning environment that equips students with the skills they need to thrive academically, socially, and emotionally as they prepare for high school. I believe in fostering a culture of self-reflection and academic independence by encouraging students to set goals, assess their progress, and become active participants in their education.
I am honored to teach the elite 8th graders of North Habersham Middle School and I look forward to all the great things they will accomplish this year!
