Dr. Smith

My name is Dr. Summer Smith, and I teach sixth-grade English Language Arts (ELA) at North Habersham Middle School. This is the 25th year of my teaching career; I previously taught in the Hall County and Banks County school systems. Reading is my passion, and I love when students understand the value that reading has in their lives. 

 

I am a graduate of Habersham Central High School. In addition to the gifted endorsement, my degrees include a Bachelor of Science Degree in Middle Grades Education from the University of North Georgia, a Master's Degree in Middle Grades Education from Walden University, an Educational Specialist Degree in Teaching and Learning from Liberty University, and Educational Doctoral Degree in Educational Leadership from Liberty University.
