Sam Berman

My name is Sam Berman, and I am the Band Director here at North Habersham Middle School. I am very excited to get to teach your students how to play band instruments and help them become fluent in musical notation and reading. It is a goal of mine to teach your students how to become independent thinkers, problem solvers, and good people through the medium of band music and instruction.

I have a Bachelor’s Degree from The University of Georgia, where I marched in the Redcoat Band for all 4 years. As part of the Redcoat Band, I was selected as a Battle Hymn soloist in 2020 and got to perform for several events as that soloist. Additionally, in 2022 I was selected as the Alumni soloist for the UGA Homecoming game. I am certified in P-12 Music and I look forward to getting to work with your students!
