Debbie Chapel

My name is Debbie Chapel and I have been teaching at North Habersham since 2002.  I moved to Clarkesville, Georgia from Gulf Breeze, Florida in 2001.  And, it's hard to believe, but I have now been in education for about 36 years.  My professional focus has been primarily on special education and mathematics, however, my personal focus has always been on the students.  My goals include to increase student confidence, promote a sense of belonging and a love for lifelong learning.

 

My degrees and certifications include a Bachelor's degree in Elementary and Early Childhood Education and a  Master's degree in Clinical Teaching / Special Education from the University of West Florida.  I received an Educational Specialist degree in Middle School Math and Science from Brenau University.  I also have an Endorsement in Gifted Education.
